As one enters our garden, they will encounter a greeting area of hand crafted cobbles which beckon continuance into the garden.  Notice the stately urn overflowing with different colors and textures.  Continuing into the garden, the crushed gravel pathway leads to a more formal parterre garden bursting with color.  This space is enclosed by time worn garden walls and century old evergreens which define the space and add a sense of privacy.  Let the sound of the trickling water calm the senses as you stroll through the garden.  The canopies of larger trees bordered by an evergreen hedge create a sense of enclosure and offer a glimpse into other portions of the garden through the weathered gate.  As one continues under the canopy, the garden space opens to reveal an expanse of lawn flanked by a formal hedge.  The evergreens and layered plantings create a backdrop for the carefully planned herbaceous color arrangements and unify the different garden rooms.  Relax on the covered terrace which offers a space for entertainment and shelter.  This peaceful vantage point overlooks the formal lawn area and also offers a defined view to the gardens focal points.
